Infrastructure, Networking and Hardware
The main pillar of what I do: building, maintaining and troubleshooting systems, networks and the hardware underneath them.
I've been into computers and technology for almost two decades now, and I've always tried to stay ahead of the curve and learn about new things as they come out.
Along with this I enjoy spending my free time playing online games, amongst other things. I'm a hobbyist developer, learning PHP, Lua and JS (in context of Node). I also spend my time administering servers, including my home servers (Fujitsu PRIMERGY TX100 S3p and a Raspberry Pi 4B) as well as a Helsinki-hosted dedicated server.
A quick map of the areas I know well. Bigger panels mark the parts I spend the most time with, while smaller ones show tools and languages I am comfortable working in.
The main pillar of what I do: building, maintaining and troubleshooting systems, networks and the hardware underneath them.
Administration, deployment and ongoing server management across day-to-day infrastructure work.
Confident working with web server setup, hosting environments and keeping services stable.
Comfortable handling database-backed services, maintenance and supporting application needs.
Used for scripting, automation and building practical tools when a project needs code around the infrastructure.
Comfortable enough to work on game-related scripting and other small, targeted automation tasks.
Useful for web-side problem solving, small utilities and understanding existing projects when needed.
A glimpse into the tools and projects I am actively building.
